Born in Düzce in 1973, Türker started his education at the Gendarmerie Non-Commissioned Officer Preparatory School in 1987, and served as a gendarmerie non-commissioned officer between 1992 and 2016. After his retirement in 2016, Türker started making knives, which he also collects, and learned the subtleties of knife making from many knife masters in Sivas, Bursa and Kastamonu. Türker continues to practice this art in the workshop he set up in his home in Manisa.
