Geldi is the last apprentice of Ismail Araç, who is the last karatabak (parchment) master of Anatolia and who was awarded the living treasure award in 2021. She took her ijazah, and since 2009, has been working at the Acropolis of Pergamon, promoting parchment to tourists and continues to produce parchment at the old tannery.
