Ayşegül Abalı, born in 1971, is a graduate of Eskişehir Anadolu University Faculty of Economics. She still works as a banker, and continues her graduate studies on Traditional Turkish Arts. She took tile classes from Nazan Ilgaz and Latife Aktan Özel, basic art classes from Erkan Nezir, and pattern design classes from Hasan Türkmen at Sefaköy Academy of Traditional Arts between 2013 and 2016. Abalı participated in many group exhibitions. Her paper on “Turkish Tile on the Road to Becoming a World Brand” was chosen to Sarajevo 1^st International ASEAD Symposium.
