Sıtkı Karabulut was born in Balıkesir in 1943. After graduating from Teaching School in 1963, he worked as a teacher for many years. He produces his works with the tools he produces with, with his own words, “çimdikleme” (pinching) and “dolama” (runaround) techniques. Karabulut, who participated in many exhibitions, still works as an instructor at Balıkesir Fine Arts Gallery.
