Tenzile Özgün was born in Istanbul in 1978. She received tile training from Ufuk Ateş Baş and Hayriye Özcan at İSMEK in 2003, and worked as a tile instructor at the History and Culture Foundation for two years starting from 2009. Özgün took miniature classes in 2013 and illumination classes in 2015 at TBMM National Palaces Education Unit, and participated in many group exhibitions. She continues her artistic works at her workshop she opened in 2011. Gülfidan Özkan and Deniz Demir are some of the students Özgün trained.
