Born in 1964 in the Milas district of Muğla, Eğin graduated from Eskişehir Anadolu University, Department of Economics in 1981. After retiring as an officer from the Ministry of National Education, Eğin began taking lessons on illumination and miniature from many teachers and improved her skills through the courses at Izmir Alsancak Advanced Technical School. Eğin holds a Teaching for Primary School Formation Certificate from Dokuz Eylül University, Buca Faculty of Education. Eğin continues to produce artworks independently.
