Sebat Şeker was born in İzmir in 1964. She graduated from Göztepe Girls’ Vocational High School, Department of Clothing, in 1981. She began practicing the art of illumination (tezhip) through working with Ayşegül Devecier and Yasemin Ataker. She participated in the event titled “The Enchantment of the Divine Names” on October 15, 2024.
