Yasemin Malcı, born on July 22, 1968, in Manisa/Turgutlu, Turkey. She completed her primary, secondary, and high school education in Eskişehir and graduated in 1989 from Eskişehir Anadolu University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Ceramics. After marrying in 1991, Malcı held various mid- and senior-level management positions in several factories and later retired. Following her retirement, she began studying illumination art (tezhip) under Müzehibe Zuhal Dindar, continuing her education in this field for 10 consecutive years. She subsequently established her own workshop to train new students. Malcı participated in the team responsible for creating illumination panels for Saruhanbey Mosque, organized with contributions from the Manisa Yunusemre Municipality. She is currently teaching private lessons at her workshop in Turgutlu, Manisa, and offering courses under the auspices of the Public Education Center and local foundations. Her exhibitions include the Turgutlu Year-End Exhibitions (2015) and Yunusemre Municipality Festivals (2015–2018).
