Berrak Kanat was born in Istanbul in 1986. She is a graduate of Istanbul Bilgi University Public Relations Department. She received training at Mehmet Güleryüz Workshop in 2009-2010 and at Yusuf Taktak Workshop in 2010-2011. Kanat, who participated in many group exhibitions both at home and abroad, held her first personal exhibition in 2012. She is also a member of the Painters’ Association. Kanat still takes classes from Nilgün Gencer and prepares project.
