Fatma Ergin was born in Istanbul in 1970. She received miniature training at Bağlarbaşı İSMEK Islamic Arts Center between 2012-2013. Ergin passed the miniature exam of the Classical Turkish Arts Center at Yıldız Palace Şale Kiosk and received training from Taner Alakuş for two years. She started working as Leyla Kara’s assistant at Yıldız Palace Şale Kiosk, and continues her miniature studies with Kara at Serterikzade Cultural Center project group. Ergin participated in various exhibitions and won prizes in many competitions.
