Born in 1992 in the Salihli district of Manisa, Şentürk received his first training on ney, which he was introduced to at the age of 9, from Neyzen Mahmut Batmaz in Turgutlu, Manisa. Şentürk, who started constructing neys on his own in 2004-2005 and received ney training from Neyzen Veysel Varcan in Izmir between 2005-2009, graduated from the Konya Dilek Sabancı State Conservatory, Traditional Turkish Music Department in 2015, where he received both ney and voice training from lecturers such as Süleyman Yardım, Sühan Irden, Kağan Ulaş, Elif Bilge Kurtuldu, and Sibel Karaman. Şentürk continued professional ney construction and giving private lessons in his own ney workshop while at university, and participated in many concerts and tours in Türkiye and abroad. Şentürk, who has worked as a music teacher and ney instructor in many private schools and institutions, continues to give private ney lessons in the ney workshop that he moved from Konya to Salihli and participates in programs and concerts with his ney. Şentürk has one child.
