Born in 1970 in the Uzunköprü district of Edirne, Konakoğlu graduated from Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Vocational School of Ceramics in 1991. Konakoğlu started to work in TEK-SER where she did an internship on ceramics, and in this meantime she received pedagogical formation training for teaching. Konakoğlu, who taught sculpture courses at Edirne Fine Arts High School for five years, gave ceramic and mosaic courses in Finike Public Education Centre, Hatay Dörtyol, Fethiye Apprenticeship Training Centre, Fethiye Public Education Centre and Private Fethiye Education Institutions in different years and durations. Konakoğlu worked as a visual arts teacher at Private Fethiye Kindergarten for one year, and received the title of artist in ceramics from the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2022. Konakoğlu organises comprehensive ceramic workshops and courses for adults and children in her workshop at her home, and continues to give courses in the ceramic clubs of Private Fethiye Educational Institutions and Private Ata Educational Institutions.
