Fatih Sayın was born in 1962 in Afyonkarahisar, Türkiye. He completed his undergraduate studies in the Department of Ceramics at Afyon Kocatepe University, Faculty of Fine Arts, and earned his master’s degree in the Ceramic Main Art Department at Uşak University in 2013. In 2010, he completed the Erasmus internship program in Essen, Germany, further enriching his artistic experience through participation in various exhibitions and projects over the years. Establishing his own workshop, Sayın introduced the art of pottery to students both in his studio and in schools affiliated with the Ministry of National Education. He also taught courses on ceramics and pottery at public education centers in Afyonkarahisar and its districts. The artist currently continues his pottery work with trainees in his workshop located in Selçuklu Neighborhood, beneath the Selçuklu Mosque in Afyonkarahisar.
