Serap Yıldırım Geren was born in Samsun in 1976. She graduated from Sakarya University (SAU) Sakarya Vocational School Ceramics Program in 1998, from SAU Fine Arts Faculty Traditional Turkish Handicrafts Old Tile Restoration Department in 2005, and completed the Traditional Turkish Handicrafts Graduate Program at Sakarya University Institute of Social Sciences in 2009. She participated in many personal and group exhibitions both at home and abroad. Geren has been working as an instructor at Namık Kemal University Çorlu Vocational School Traditional Handicrafts Department since 2012.
