Kartan, who has been producing rag dolls in her home workshop for about nine years, received support from TÜBITAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Institution of Türkiye) with her project titled The Transformation of Textile Wastes into Organic Toys. Kartan, who sells the rag dolls she produces on Turkish and foreign markets, continues her education at Ege University, Department of Clothing Production Technology.
