Born in Izmir in 1986, Mocan completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Izmir and graduated from Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, Department of Turkish Language and Literature. In 2008, Mocan, who was introduced to the art of marbling in Muğla Municipality courses through the instructor Yavuz Merih Ulubay, worked in Muğla Marbling Workshop in Muğla Historical Zahire Market between 2009 and 2011. Mocan, who opened many solo exhibitions in the city of Muğla and its districts, participated in group exhibitions and workshops, is a teacher of Turkish language and literature and continues her marbling works in the workshop of her instructor, Ulubay.
