Born in 1983 in Aydın, Ulu graduated from Ondokuz Mayıs University, Faculty of Education, Department of Painting and Art Education in 2005. Ulu started her marbling training at Firdevs Çalkanoğlu’s workshop in 2015, received her mastership license in 2020. Ulu, who was awarded the title of Intangible Cultural Heritage Bearer by the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism in the field of marbling in 2022, continues to produce artworks in her workshop in Izmir.
