Meral Dayıoğlu was born in Istanbul in 1958. She started working on art with painting, and attended Hikmet Barutçugil’s marbling classes in 2006. Dayıoğlu took classes from Mahmut Peşteli at the Classical Turkish Arts Foundation (KTSV) for four years. She took miniature classes from Dilek Yerlikaya and Taner Alakuş, and illumination classes from Nilüfer Kurfeyz and Selim Sağlam. Dayıoğlu received Artist Presentation Card from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2012 as a marbling artist. She participated in many group exhibitions both at home and abroad.
