Dicle Sema Yılmazkardeşler was born in Mardin in 1953. She graduated from Ankara Gazi University Faculty of Architecture in 1979. She held an exhibition in flower decoration branch in 1986, and exhibitions in painting and sculpture branches in 2000-2001. She received miniature, tile and ceramics training at İSMEK Bağlarbaşı Specialization Center, and participated in many group exhibitions. Yılmazkardeşler has been continuing her works at her workshop since 2011, and continues her studies with Yasin Toroğlu at İSMEK Ceramic Production Workshop.
