Born in Çorum in 1965, Bulut attended primary school in Çorum and secondary and high school in Ankara. After completing her education on fashion design in Izmir, Bulut, who started her career as a modelist and stylist in a Dutch textile company and worked as a collection coordinator in a Belgian textile company for many years, was introduced to the art of marbling in Izmir Karşıyaka Public Education Centre in 2004. Bulut continued her marbling training at a private art workshop in Karşıyaka, and opened her own workshop in 2010 after using her house as a workshop for a few years. She tries to create a different style by adding a contemporary interpretation to traditional marbling- she applies marbling on paper, fabric, ceramic, wood, stone objects. Since 2018, she has moved her workshop back to her home and continues to work there. Since 2012, Bulut has been giving marbling courses, organising workshops, participating in festivals and exhibitions within various institutions and organisations.
