Safiye Ergin was born in Istanbul in 1977. She is a graduate of Eskişehir Anadolu University Open Education Faculty Theology Associate Degree Program. She started her khatt training with the classes she took from Khattat Tahsin Kurt at İSMEK in 2008, and received her license in 2014. Ergin participated in various group exhibitions. In 2016, she won an encouragement prize in International Tenth Khatt Competition and third prize in 4^th Masters of the Future Khatt Competition.
