 Veysel Kucuras was born in Istanbul in 1972. He started taking khatt classes from Abdulhadi Erol Dönmez at the Applied Turkish-Islamic Arts Library in 2004, and received his thuluth-naksh license in 2010. Kucuras, who participated in various exhibitions both at home and abroad, gives khatt classes at Esenler Art House, and continues his personal studies at his workshop.
