Bora Uluyol was born in 1972 in Eskişehir. He graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics. He started studying miniature art with Yasemin Akyol in 2013 at Üsküdar Turkish Islamic Arts Education Center. Uluyol, who also took classes from Taner Alakuş, continued his studies with Dilek Yerlikaya at İSMEK Turkish Islamic Arts Specialization Center. In the Competition of Traditional Arts organized by İSMEK in 2016, he won exhibition prize with his work named "Lokman Hekim (means ‘Doctor Lokman’)" and honourable mention with his work “Hz. Salih ve Deve Kıssası (meaning ‘Parable of Prophet Salih and the Camel’)” in Masters of the Future Competition in 2017.
