 Cannur Doğanay was born in Istanbul in 1989. She graduated from Marmara University Technical Sciences Vocational School Department of Aquaculture in 2009. Right after her graduation, she got into Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University (MSFAU) Traditional Turkish Arts Department with first place. Doğanay did her undergraduate studies at the Illumination Department. She continues her graduate studies at MSFAU Illumination Department. In 2013, Doğanay won second prize in miniature branch in İSMEK Istanbul and Art Competition in 2013. Along with illumination art, she also studied miniature with Taner Alakuş. She still gives illumination classes at İSMEK.
