Born in 1986 in the Fatih district of Istanbul, Özduran learned the art of glass blowing and warm glass casting from his father, Arif Özduran, who is a warm glass master registered with the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Özduran has been practicing this craft for twenty-two years.
