Halil Koyun was born in 1968 in Manisa. He graduated from Trakya University Canakkale Vocational School, Department of Carpet Decoration in 1988. He worked at Public Education Centers. He has been working as a Carpet Teacher since 2013. He is still doing pattern studies and studies on Yagcibedir Carpet weaving.
