Born in Izmir in 1991, Bölce, who studied painting between 2005 and 2012, became interested in calligraphy in 2012 and received calligraphy training from Murat Incekara, Mukadder Mustafa Erol, and Mehmet Kamer. After receiving his ijazah from his teacher Incekara in 2015, Bölce opened Karga Sanat Atölyesi (Karga Art Workshop) in 2017 and worked on calligraphy, painting, and modern calligraphy (flourish modern lines). Between 2016 and 2023, he observed Ilkay Kanar's basic calligraphy works, and in 2016, he observed Erhan Olcay's works on lettering and materials at the Küçükçekmece Geleneksel Sanatlar Akademisi (Küçükçekmece Traditional Arts Academy) in Istanbul. Bölce, who improved his skills by attending classes at the Sulukule Sanat Akademisi (Sulukule Art Academy) during the same period, also took an interest in the arts of marbling and illumination. Having worked as a painting and calligraphy instructor at Ödemiş Public Education Center and at various educational institutions in 2014, Bölce was awarded the title of Intangible Cultural Heritage Bearer by the General Directorate of Living Heritage and Cultural Activities of Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2020. A member of the Traditional Arts Association since 2018, Bölce continues to convey his artworks to new students.
