Nilhan Yegenoğlu was born in Samsun in 1958. She graduated from Ondokuz Mayıs High School in Samsun in 1978. Her interest in the art of felt-making began in 2009. In 2016, she received training from Serpil Al within the felt courses offered by the Sarıyer Municipality Cultural Services. Between 2017 and 2024, she participated in various events such as the Mixed Exhibitions organized by Sarıyer Municipality and the International Women’s Solidarity Association’s Bazaar. She continues her artistic work in traditional felt-making at her residence in Sarıyer, Istanbul.
