ALTINKÖK was born in 1965 in Bursa. After completing her high school education at Bursa Girls’ High School, she took wood painting, patchwork and hand embroidery courses at the Public Education Center and received her certificates. She was awarded a degree in Anchor Çapa's competition in 2009. In the competition organized by the Ulunmay Museum and Bursa Governorship, two of her artworks were awarded by the Bursa Governorship. Representing Bursa Governor's Office, she opened an exhibition at Menschen Hand in Hand Ausstellung in Frankfurt in April 2012. She opened a patchwork exhibition at ATCEX 2012 at Merinos Culture and Convention Center. She won an award in the international ribbon embroidery competition organized by Di van Niekerk in Cape Town in 2012, and was included in the competition book. She opened an exhibition at the Korfmann Library at the Ilyada Patchwork Festival organized by the Çanakkale City Council in 2013. In February 2014, she opened a patchwork exhibition at Bursa Fine Arts Gallery with a group of friends. She took part in the fashion show of Textile Arts Association in May 2014 with her patchwork clothes and bags. Her artwork titled “Çanakkale 1915” was exhibited at the 100th Anzac Anniversary exhibition in Australia (at the Gallery of the Embroiderers Guild of Victoria) between April 18 and May 14 2015. She opened a patchwork exhibition at the Oyuk Festival in Urla’s Barbaros Village in June 2016. She took part in the group exhibition on Anatolian Seljuks organized on behalf of Izmir Katip Çelebi University at Dokuz Eylül University Sabancı Kültür Sarayı between May 4 and 11, 2017. She participated in the same exhibition, which was re-exhibited at the Derviş Ağa Madrasa between May 12 and 17 2017 in Ödemiş/Birgi.
