Suat Veral was born in Istanbul in 1966. He trained shadow play with his master and his brother Tevfik Veral. Veral started working on the art of shadow playing with figure production, which is an important part of Turkish sadow play, and continued with also performing plays and has been performing the art for thirty-seven years. Veral worked as an instructor at the Performance Arts Center within Kültür A.Ş., which is connected to Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. He took part in many projects both at home and abroad, and continues his works.
