He was born in Istanbul in 1971. He graduated from İnönü Technical and Vocational High School, Department of Technical Drawing, in 1990. In 2001, he began studying the art of marbling (ebru) with Sadreddin Özçimi. In 2003, he took thuluth calligraphy lessons from Ceyhun Oydem. He received his certificate (ijazah) in marbling in 2005. In 2009, he learned rosary (tespih) making from Erhan Başak. The same year, he opened his own marbling and rosary workshop and started training students. In 2010, he received an award in marbling in a competition held in memory of Mustafa Düzgünman. In 2015, he granted ijazah to four students in the field of marbling. In 2017, he was invited to Qatar for rosary-making work. He represented the arts of marbling and rosary in various countries upon invitations from the Ministry of Culture. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions. In 2025, he opened his own art gallery called Karınca Sanat in the Körfez district of Kocaeli, where he continues his artistic work.
