Mustafa Genç, born in 1974, is a graduate of Isparta Vocational School Carpet Department. He completed his graduate education at Marmara University and his doctorate at Yıldız Technical University. Genç did studies on natural dyeing and cloth dyeing with Gülveren Genç and Recep Karadağ. He participated in exhibitions both at home and abroad. Genç continues his academic and artistic works at the university. Selda Kavas, Ferdi Karagöz and Zeynep Tuti are some of the students Genç trained.
