Baysal was born in 1960 in the Tire district of Izmir. Baysal learned rope weaving (her family's source of income) from her father and master weaver Ibrahim Bezci. She contributed to the promotion of this profession by participating in various fairs and exhibitions. Baysal has been working as a rope weaving master at the Tire Municipality City Museum since 2014, and she ensures that rope weaving is passed on to future generations by training apprentices.
