Bekir Sıddık Soysal was born in Erzurum. He is a graduate of Atatürk University Department of Turkish Language and Literature. Soysal retired from TRT in 1997. He took marbling classes from Timuçin Tanarslan and participated in various cultural projects. With the project, he presented to Eskişehir Turkic World Capital Agency, he created the Dede Korkut Memorial Wall, consisting of the areas of script engraved in the wall and the areas of tile adaptations, where he recreated epic depictions. Soysal is the author, designer, artistic and application director of this project, which is the first in the world as a book that is embodied in architectural form. He gave seminars themed traditional arts and aesthetics in “Academy Edirne” meetings organized by Edirne Governorship with the participation of young people from Balkan countries.
