Beyza Ağaoğlu was born in Istanbul in 1955. She started her marbling studies with Hikmet Barutçugil, continued with Firdevs Çalkanoğlu in 2012, and received her license in 2016. She studied miniature with Özcan Özcan and started making miniatures on marbled backgrounds. Ağaoğlu still gives classes on marbling and miniature at her workshop.
