Yıldız Esin Sevgin was born in Istanbul in 1963. She is a graduate of Anadolu University Business Administration Department and Atatürk University Archeology Department. Sevgin has been working on marbling art since 2003. She took classes from Ayla Makas and Gülden Güldamar; gave classes at the 75^th Year Childhood and Youth Center connected to the Social Services Institution, and at the Deniz Yıldızı Workshop opened by her at İSKİ in 2004. Sevgin does marbling and ceramic works at the Assistance to Children Working on Streets Association, she is also the chairman of the association.
