Nazilli was born in 1963 in Afyonkarahisar. After graduating from primary school, Nazilli worked as an apprentice and journeyman alongside felt masters such as his father Ibrahim Nazilli and Osman Nakıçoğlu, and further improved his skills by becoming a master in different workshops. After running his own workshop between 2014 and 2020, Nazilli moved his work to a small workshop in the garden of his house, and participated in many exhibitions and workshops organized by the Directorate of Culture and Tourism. Striving to keep the felting profession alive, Nazilli is married with two children.
