Born in Bingöl in 1974, she completed her high school education in Istanbul before graduating from Gazi University, Department of Business Administration. She worked for many years in the private sector as a finance manager. Her deep interest in art took a new direction in 2010 when she decided to reshape her career plan. She pursued training in cultural heritage and tourism, while painting and exploring different artistic practices. She also organized workshops and opened exhibitions.
Her journey with felt art began when she attended a course at a public education center. This marked the start of a new chapter in her life. She learned this traditional art, which has been passed down through four generations, from a master craftsman. This challenging and labor-intensive art form became a passion for her. Today, she continues to transmit this art to future generations as an Intangible Cultural Heritage Bearer under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism
