Levent Karaduman was born in Bartın in 1978. He started studying thuluth and naskh scripts with Fuat Başar in 1995, and received his license in 2003. He produced unique modern and contemporary works within the classical khatt tradition and presented them to art-lovers in many exhibitions both at home and abroad. Karaduman founded İstiva Art Center and continues his studies at İstiva Art Workshop within the center in Çengelköy. Zeynep Çolak, Ayşe Karakuş and Arif Efendiler are the students who received their licenses from Karaduman.
