Mustafa Parıldar was born in Siverek in 1982. He graduated from Selçuk University Fine Arts Faculty Khatt Department in 2007. He stdueid ruq’ah, diwani, jali diwani, and ta’liq with Khattat Hüseyin Öksüz during his university years. Parıldar started his first khatt training with Hacı Alp, and attended Mehmet Memiş’s khatt classes in 1995. He studied thuluth and naskh scripts, and received his license in 2010. Parıldar gave khatt classes at KOMEK and Meram Public Education Center in Konya for a period of time. He benefitted from the mastery of Uğur Derman, Osman Özçay, Mehmed Özçay, Davut Bektaş and Ali Toy. Parıldar participated in many exhibitions both at home and abroad. He won fourteen prizes, including first prizes, in various national and international competitions including the competitions of IRCICA, Albaraka Turk and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. He continues his khatt studies, and works as an instructor at the Classical Turkish Arts Foundation and İSMEK Specialization Center.
