Nurşen Karahasanoğlu was born in Bursa in 1973. She started studying khatt with Khattat Mahmut Şahin in 2009, and received thuluth, naskh, ruq’ah and nasta’liq licenses. Karahasanoğlu, who participated in various exhibitions in Turkey, wrote the scriptures of various mosques and lodges. She continues her artistic works by giving classes at various institutions, and at Bab-ı Nun Traditional Arts Foundation under the supervision of Mahmut Şahin.
