Saadet General was born in Siirt in 1971. She is a graduate of Anadolu University Open Education Faculty Theology Associate Degree Program. She took classes from Assoc. Prof. Süleyman Berk and Khattat Halil İbrahim İslam, and has been performing the art of khatt since 2014. The works she wrote in ruq’ah, thuluth and jali thuluth styles has been exhibited in the group exhibitions of Zeytinburnu Culture and Art Center, and İSMEK. General continues her studies within Fatih Municipality, and at Fatih Public Education Center. Zeynep Kişi, Ayşe Ceylan, Tuğba Ceylan, Seniha Toros, Miray Kayaduman and Kübra Yazıcı are some of the students General trained.
