 Tuba Özperk was born in Istanbul in 1975. She is a graduate of Bakırköy Imam Hatip High School. Özperk took khatt classes from Erol Dönmez at the Applied Turkish-Islamic Arts Library, and received her thuluth-naskh license in 2012. She continues studying khatt with Erol Dönmez at the Applied Turkish-Islamic Arts Library.
