Born in Osmaniye in 1970, Kılıç completed her primary, secondary and high school education in Osmaniye and graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Science, Department of Astronomy and Space Sciences. Kılıç, who continued her studies on Anatolian, Azerbaijani and Crimean folk dances within the General Directorate of State Opera and Ballet, worked as public relations officer at the Modern Dance Ensemble. Kılıç began her studies in tile making with Feriha Esmer and Çiğdem Değirmenci in 2008 and took lessons from Kerim Keçecigil and Nazlı Pınar Yerin. Kılıç, who participated in many exhibitions in Türkiye and abroad with her works since 2009, opened her first solo exhibition at TÜRKSOY in 2012. Between 2012 and 2021, she worked as a tile teacher at Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Vocational Training Courses BELMEK, received honorable mention in the Yaşayan Miras Seramik (Çini) (Living Heritage Ceramic (Tile)) Competition organized by the Selçuklu Municipality in 2021, and won an award in the Sanatın On Hali Yarışması (Ten Forms of Art Competition) organized by Balıkesir Municipality City Council. Kılıç, who is a tile artist of the General Directorate of Research and Education of the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism, not only does classical tile works, but she also transfers traditional clothes, paintings and patterns from various regions of the Turkish world into tile. The artist is married and has two children.
