Fatma Bozkut Kocabaş was born in 1964 in Kütahya. She started her studies on tile art in 1983 with Mehmet Koçer in Kütahya Gold Tile. In 1993, Kocabaş won the first prize in the category of panel in the Çini Design Competition held within the scope of the 2nd Kütahya Tile Symposium. In 2011, she received the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's tile craftsmanship presentation card. Kocabaş, who has participated in many personal and group exhibitions, has been continuing his works in his own workshop since 1989.
