Yeşilyurt, who is a retired civil servant, started to use her house as a workshop after the tile training she started at a public education centre in 2017. Yeşilyurt participated in Menemen International Pottery Festivals and various group exhibitions in Izmir and Manisa, and she showcases tile decoration to children during these events. Yeşilyurt, who was given the title of Intangible Cultural Heritage Bearer in 2024 by Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Culture and Tourism Intangible Cultural Heritage Bearer Evaluation Board, is also registered to Menemen Potters Chamber.
