İsmail Tekin was born in Pazaryeri district of Bilecik in 1976. He has been performing the craft of pottery, which passed to him from his father and grandfather, by staying true to the old traditions at his workshop in Kınık village. Tekin participated in various events to promote the craft of pottery.
