İsmail Ufuk Baş was born in 1983 in Çanakkale. He is a graduate of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Fine Arts Ceramics Department. He opened his own workshop in 2008, and began continuing his artistic works in there. He produces his works with a postmodern understanding by using ajur decoration technique, and uses traditional Turkish – Islamic figures on modern and unique forms in detail. Baş has participated in various group exhibitions with his works.
