Maide Nazmiye Mertgil was born in Istanbul in 1994. She graduated from Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Traditional Turkish Arts in 2017 with ranking first in her class. Mertgil participated in various exhibitions, workshops and seminars.
