Melike Haliloğlu was born in Istanbul in 1977. Haliloğlu, who received tile training from Mümine Ateş at Turkish Islamic Arts Specialization Center for four years, has been continuing her artistic works with her students in her workshop in Üsküdar since 2011. She won third prize in two competitions and an exhibition prize in various competitions. Haliloğlu’s works have been exhibited in many group exhibitions both at home and abroad. Merve Kalsın, Rabia Çakır, Nurdan Ünal Ay and Mine Ayaz are some of the students Haliloğlu trained.
